Do chinese have any morals?That's a good question.Many people insist that ideas about right and wrong are merely personal opinions.Some voicesthoughare calling chinese back to traditionalmoral values.some people suggests that great moral stories can build character.Many chinese still believe in moral values.But what are they?

To begin withmoral values in chinese are like those in any culture.In factmany aspects of morality are universal.But the stories and traditions that teach them are unique to each culture.Notonly thatbut culture influences how people show these virtues.

One of the most basic moral values for us is honesty.People still believe that "honesty is the best policy."

With the development of Internet, people can get to know the instant news and see what happens around the world. We hear about the bad news about teenager’s wrong behavior now and then, thebiggest is about a teenager insulted a girl and got arrested. The whole world is watching the case, because the teenager is born in a rich family. Teenager has been criticized for their lack ofmoral consciousness, before the case, not a lot of people realize teenager’s moral problem. Now, the society calls for the parents to take care about the moral education. Parents start to doself-examination, they know they focus too much on the work; they need to spend more time to be with their kids, teaching the children what is right and what is wrong. In order to foster thekids with moral idea, they tell them what they should do and what they should avoid. With these ideas, the teenagers will not against the law.

In ancient time moral education and intellectual education were in same process. With the development of society the position of moral education and intellectual education changed and themoral education split up into directive moral education and indirective moral education. This change brought about conflict between the two forms and make any form not fully play its role. Themethods to overcome it are carry out comprehensive moral education make the two forms of moral education as an organic whole. To realize it can adopt subject curriculum activity curriculum andhiden curriculum make them infiltrate one another and complete the task of fostering together.

Twenty-three lectures on popular science have been held to promote the education of modern science and technology. Students whose enthusiasm for creativity and innovation has been greatlyspurred handed in more than 500 pieces science projects.

To strengthen the organic combination of the school family and social education the district established a family education guidance centre juvenile psychological guidance centres in 32primary and middle schools and has trained 460 teachers to upgrade their methods for moral education.

Furthermore the district organized more than 1400 18-year-olds to participate in an oath ceremony last year. Thirty students donated blood after the ceremony.
