The new semester is coming and I want to make a plan for it. Firstly, I will work as hard as before. I really did a good job last term, so I want to keep good as well. During the summerholiday, I did some previews and I found that the courses are not very hard. Secondly, I will spend more time in reading. Reading is really good to a person, because we can learn a lot frombooks and broaden one’s horizon. Besides, reading can help us think more and deeply. Finally, I will take part in exercises actively and regularly. No matter how busy I am, I will set sometimeaside to build my body which is the basic of any other things. Moreover, after doing exercise, I feel so fresh and relaxed that I can put my whole heart in doing something, such as study,reading, thinking and so on. So this is the plan for the new semester and I am sure I can carry it out step by step.

Come and meet my family, please! My mother is kind. I love her, and she loves me, too. My mother is pretty. She likes beautiful clothes. I call her“Dressy Mum”. My father is a boss. He istall and thin. He has a small head. I give him a nickname“Small Head Father”. I am fat and lovely. I have a big head. I give myself a nickname“Big Head Girl”. I study hard. I am a good student.

When I was very small, my grandpa liked to tell me his tough year and I liked to listen to him. At that time, wars were everywhere, people ran away for keeping alive. My grandpa was so hungryall the time because he had no food to eat. People had the very hard life before the found of new China. Today, Chinese economy develops so fast, we live the good life, we are no longerstruggle for the hunger. Thanks to our great predecessors, they build the road for us. We enjoy the peaceful life and I know it is not easy to achieve. My grandpa educates me not to waste thefood and I keep his words in my mind. Peace is the main theme of today’s world, we can chase our dreams and enjoy our life, but we must remember the contribution which is from our predecessors.
在我很小的时候，爷爷很喜欢给我讲他的艰难岁月，我也喜欢听他讲。那个时候，战争无处不在，人们为了活命而逃亡。爷爷总是很饿，因为他没有东西吃。人们在新中国成立前过着艰难的生活。今天，中国的经济发展快速，我们过上了好生活，不再为饥饿挣扎。多亏了我们伟大的先辈们，他们为了开拓了道路。我们享受这和平的生活，我知道这来之不易。爷爷教育我不要浪费食物，我一直记着他的话。和平是世界现在的主题，我们可以追求梦想，快乐生活，但是我们必须记得先辈们的贡献。

uring a long vacation, I usually like to go to see the exhibits in one of a great many museums. Such as the art museum, the history museum, the museum of natural history, and the museum ofscience and technology. Many wonderful things are cared for in museums. There are paintings, potteries, sculptures, costumes, swords, ancient animal bones and plants, stuffed animals, antiquesteam locomotives, and many others. It is always a good review of history to visit those museums.
